Glory Days and Bellamy Day in the Park a Success Despite Weather

MOUNT MORRIS — The spirit of merriment poured steadily throughout Mount Morris despite the interment rain this Saturday during the Glory Days and Bellamy Day in the Park Festival.

Three-year old Regan Donegan attests that no one is going to rain on the Mount Morris parade as she "catches" a prize from the "pool."

Meanwhile 10 year old Trevor Rossborough shows off his prixe rabbit while Rebekah Hull looks on with approval.

Many other children accompanied by mom and dad attended the festivals. Among them included Heather Seymour who attests to the belief that good things come in threes. Her three-year old, Ryker and her three-month old, Remy, accompany her.

Lots of food was offered the public including freshly cooked hot dogs, sausage and hamburgers. None other than the owner/manager of Save-A-Lot Suzanne Schmitz served these treats with the assistance of her mother, Joyce Schmitz.

Besides the food there were many things to see. Chief among there was chainsaw carver James Lick who created an alligator.

And of course, many public service displays such as the Genesee Valley Council of Arts. Host Jim Coniglio is surrounded by brother Zach, Tony , and David who are three of the six Farroggia siblings.
