Name of Dansville Boy Killed by a Car Released, Boyd Hilligus IV, 14

DANSVILLE — Livingston County Sheriff Officials have confirmed the identity of the 14-year-old boy who died as a result of injuries when he was riding his bike and struck by a car, his name is Boyd Hilligus IV.
The incident occurred at 6 p.m. on Monday in Dansville, at this point investigators do not believe the child was wearing a helmet.
The boy was Mercy flighted to Strong Memorial Hospital where he died after being treated in the Intensive Care Unit for life threatening injuries.
At this point the driver of the vehicle, Susan Campbell from Dansville, was not charged with any violations or issued any tickets. The investigation is still ongoing.
