VIDEO: Accused Rapist David Wampler Has Bail Reduced $25,000

LIVINGSTON COUNTY — David Wampler faces 21 counts that accuse him of rape, drug dealing and other allegations, but on Thursday he left court smiling with $25,000 in bail money back in his pocket.
Judge Dennis Cohen reduced Wampler's previously posted bail amount from $50,000 to $25,000.
"My client has made all court appointments in this court and as well as those in family court," said Defense Attorney Kevin Van Allan, "He poses no flight risk."
One of the alleged victims is a 14-year-old girl. He is alleged to have supplied them with LSD and cocaine. During interrogation he refused to sign a statement by police admitting guilt.
Wampler left court all smiles and when asked what people should think when they hear his name he said, "No comment."
