LIVINGSTON COUNTY — The man that led multiple law enforcement agencies on a high speed car chase that included helicopters and K9 units has a plea deal on the table that could spare him any jail time.
Dustin Tschiderer, 28, was arrested on Christmas day after he allegedly fled authorities in a stolen vehicle that started in Geneseo and concluded in Avon. Tschiderer was temporarily able to outrun authorities after he tore across Farview Golf course where he then fled on foot shoeless. He was later arrested the next day at his families home by a team of Livingston County Sheriff Deputies.
On thursday, in front of Livingston County Court Judge Dennis Cohen, Tschiderer was offered a 90-day stay at Willard drug treatment facility. If he fails at Willard he will then be sentenced to 3-6 years in state prison. He is charged with criminal possession in the 3rd, the vehicle was a 2003 Honda CRV.
This is not Tschiderer's first felony arrest, he was charged with forgery by the Secret Service after he tried to use fake money at Wal-Mart. Tschiderer's next court date is March 15th.
